James has cancer. Cancer is stupid. We made shirts. It started with one shirt made for our family, using James’s own handwriting after a hard night in the hospital. Soon doctors, nurses, and other patients began asking for one too. The back side says “Cancer is Stupid” in James’s handwriting. The front side features a cancer cell with tiny knives in it, designed by James’s 12-year-old brother as his own way of fighting back.
